Pollen analysis - work in progress

Work in progress at the Institut für Botanik in Innsbruck where Daniela is starting analyzing the ice samples from the Leupa ice cave. First pollen analyses on an ice sample already revealed different kinds of pollen of trees, grasses and ferns. In the picture: on the left a pollen of Corylus avellana (hazel); on the right a pollen of Pinus sp. (pine).
