New long-term monitoring is on
Last week the C3 team has been working in several different ice caves to set a temperature monitoring network.
The main target, to be hopefully reached in a few years of surveys, will be the characterization of air fluxes in 2 dynamically active cave systems interested by permanent ice deposits and with similar characteristics.
Really much appreciated was the help and cooperation of the CGEB's caving team in installing the monitoring stations deep in the karst system. It was indeed a nice expedition seasoned by lot of fun and good cooperation. We deeply thank Lorenzo Marini and Riccardo Corazzi, the latter C3 contact point for the CGEB for the great work done.
