LOGS - Local Glaciers Sissimiut, Greenland

The project aims at increasing data coverage of local and peripheral glaciers (i.e. disconnected from the Greenland Ice Sheet), particularly in the Sisimiut area. This will be done by: i) exploiting recent advances introduced by modern image processing and remote sensing techniques: ii) constraining the past and future evolution of the glaciers in this area by modeling the evolution of the environmental Equilibrium Line Altitude (ELA)
